Dobrivoie Kerpenisan

Dobrivoie Kerpenisan is a filmmaker, photographer and graduate of the Folkwang School. He received international recognition for his documentaries, artistic portraits and various advertising campaigns. Motivated by personal experiences, he began early on to deal with the transition and coming to terms with the past in totalitarian states. The processing of the crimes by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa, work on the revolution in Romania, the role of the media during the last Balkan wars, as well as dealing with young resistance fighters in the Third Reich are some of the topics that show his interest in social developments. Awarded the Oberhausener Kurzfilmtage Prize, the Grand Prix in Tokyo, Portugal, Chicago, the German Human Rights Film Prize, the Amnesty International Award, several Grimme Prize nominations and an invitation to the Oscar documentary film. His works have been performed at MoMa New York, Center Pompidou Paris, Barbican Center London, Art Biennale Sao Paolo, Goethe Institute worldwide and in the film reviews with Alexander Kluge.

 

Mareike Almedom

Mareike Almedom was born and raised in Berlin-Moabit. She worked as an operating room nurse, ran a bar, gave birth to Marlene, wrote a novel ... and then still studied: Screenwriting / Dramaturgy at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf (BfA 2018). Her experimental short film "Berliner Beat" (RBB) was shown at many festivals. In 2018/19 she developed a historical crime series with UFA / RTL. In collaboration with the director Jonas Walter, she wrote the family drama "Tamara", which received funding from the Kleiner Fernsehspiel and Medienboard BB. On behalf of the production company X-Films, she wrote the script for a dramatic coming-of-age music film. As a co-author alongside Martin Behnke and on behalf of Creator Tyron Ricketts (Panthertainment), she conceived a political thriller series. In the Masterclass Serial Writing and Producing Winterclass 2020/21 (EPI) she developed the near-future thriller series “Know Your Enemy” (AT). In 2021 she headed the writers room for "Ismail", the 7th season of the youth drama series DRUCK (bantrybay / FUNK).

Liza Stutzky

Liza Stutzky worked as an agent for Anja Joos Management until 2017. Since 2009 she has worked as a freelance caster for various German and international TV and film productions. Nora Fingscheidt's SYSTEMSPRENGER was pre-selected for the Oscar as the best international feature film and was awarded a total of 8 Lolas. This was followed by projects such as the SKY series SOULS or the movie GENERATION BEZIEHUNGSUNFÄHIG, which is currently running in German cinemas. After completing the series “OH HELL”, she is currently working on the completion of the historic TV-Now series TORSTRASSE 1 ”directed by Sherry Hormann and Umut Dag, the movie“ EINSTEIN ”directed by Theresa von Eltz, and others Productions for the German and international film landscape. In addition, she was recently a guest on the podcasts “CLOSE UP” and “Spielplatz”.
