Born in 1986 in Bonn, he started working as actor and assistant director in theater and directed his first film ROLLTREPPE ABWÄRTS in 2006, that became a surprisingly success in german cinemas. From 2007-2014 he studied in the Directing Class at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, listed in “Top 15 international film schools“ by THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. His films premiered on national and international film festivals and won numerous awards. With ERLEDIGUNG EINER SACHE (THE LAST WILL), an adaptation of best-selling novelist Håkan Nesser, Dustin Loose was awarded with the STUDENT ACADEMY AWARD by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2015. Lisbon-born Filipa Ramos is a writer and editor based in London, where she works as editor-in-chief of art-agenda. She is a lecturer in the experimental film MA programme of Kingston University and in the MRes Art:Moving Image of Central Saint Martins, both in London, and works with the Master Programme of the Institut Kunst, Basel.
Ramos is co-curator of Vdrome, a programme of screenings of films by visual artists and filmmakers. She was associate editor of Manifesta Journal and contributed for Documenta 13 (2012) and 14 (2017). Her writing has been published in several magazines and catalogues. She has recently edited ANIMALS (Whitechapel Gallery/MIT Press).
Since 2011 Eva Sangiorgi is founder and director of FICUNAM, International Film Festival of the National University of Mexico. She has been working as programmer and invited curator for different festivals in the last ten years, as FICCO Mexico city, Iberoamericana in Italy, Werkleiz in Germany, Los Cabos in Mexico, among others, She worked with visual artists in developing film projects, as Rirkrit Tiravanija and Abraham Cruzvillegas, and she is now producing the new film of Mexican filmmmaker Daniela Schneider. In 2016 she launched a distribution company in Mexico called Brava Cinema.
Ido Fluk is a New York based writer-director. His second feature film, THE TICKET, stars Dan Stevens, Malin Akerman, and Oliver Platt. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival to acclaim, with Variety dubbing it MASTERFUL, and was released in theaters this spring. Fluk's feature-length debut, Israeli road film NEVER TOO LATE, was the first Israeli crowd-sourced film ever made. Awards include the Regard D'or at Fribourg Film Festival, and the Jerusalem Film Festival Young Director's Award. Hu Jieming is one of the pioneers of digital media and video installation art in today's China. He shows his partiality to interdiscipline which leads into a blending of remote fields. Hu’s works pay attention to internal physiology by transferring physical diagrams, gestures, architectural areas, identifications and staves etc. into a synthesized visual experience. Hu Jieming raises views and questions about time, space, history and memory, while his art covers a range of medium working with photography, video and digital interactive technology.
