Anna de Paoli

Presenter of the international competition program.

The film producer Anna de Paoli participated in festivals such as Berlinale or Locarno with her short and documentary films, produced at the DFFB (German Film and Television Academy Berlin). She won many prizes including the „Golden Lola“. ‘Dr. Ketel’, the first movie produced by her company „Schattenkante“ was released Germany-wide in August 2013. She and director Linus de Paoli were responsible for the screenplay of this Neo-Noir production. The nightmare-like Thriller ‘Der Samurai’ from Till Kleinert (bearer ‘Deutscher Nachwuchsfilmpreis up-and-coming 2005’) became a festival-hit with over 50 festival entries and 20 awards. Anna de Paoli, a graduated communications manager, has been associated with the International Film festival in Berlin since 2001 – at present as program coordinator for „Perspektive German Film“. She has moderated events such as the Berlinale, the Hofer Filmtage, the Filmfest Dresden and the up-and-coming International Film Festival in Hannover. She is the mother of two children and lives in Berlin-Neukölln.

Stefan Rupp

Studied political science and German studies. He is one of the most popular radio presenters in Berlin/Brandenburg. For over 20 years he exclusively presents prime-time formats in the capital city. He also leads podium discussions, conventions, press conferences and galas.
