Felix Sendler runs his life between studying, daily living in a commune and noncommittal contacts. His favorite places are the train station bridges, where no one would take notice of anything, his seemingly familiar room and the balcony. From this point he can observe life and the world without having to participate. Leitmotiv is the song “Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen” by Friedrich Rückert und Gustav Mahler.
